Meet Our Directors
Melissa Calzada
Melissa’s career in early childhood care and development began in 2012 at Trinity Preschool. Through the years, she has served in almost every capacity which has allowed her to gain a wealth of knowledge and understanding of the interworking, function, operations and best practices for staff and students at Trinity Preschool. Melissa currently is CDA Certified and credentialed by the State of Texas as a licensed Preschool Director.
Melissa is proud of her husband David who serves as a police officer. They have been happily married for 12 years and have 4 beautiful children who have all been a part of Trinity Preschool. They enjoy spending lots of family time together and taking trips to the beach.
For Melissa, Trinity Preschool is more than a career, it is her family and her calling. Her passion is to see each child learn and grow as they develop the skills and character needed to succeed in life and follow their dreams.
Gabriella Alcala’-Coleman (Gaby)
Gabriella began her career in early childhood care and development in 2008. Throughout the years she has served as staff support, teacher, and in preschool management. Because of her love for children and her desire to help them learn and grow she decided to make childhood development her profession.
Gabriella attended San Antonio College and Texas Women’s University where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development.
Gabriella and her husband Christopher have been happily married for 13 years and have 4 amazing children and 2 dogs. Some of their favorite things are spending time together as a family and taking road trips to explore God’s big beautiful world.
Gaby has been a director at Trinity Preschool since 2023. Her passion is to see children develop and grow in a life long love of learning and discovery.
